Meeting Location

The workshop will take place on the 11th floor of Bradfield Hall on the Cornell University campus. Classroom sessions will be in room 1102 and the coding sessions will be in room 1101.

Transportation

By air to Ithaca & Cornell University:
Ithaca and Cornell University are served by the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport. The Cornell campus is a ten-minute drive from the Ithaca airport. Free shuttle service is available between the Ithaca airport and some hotels (listed below). Flying directly into Ithaca is likely the most convenient option for many workshop attendees.

If you choose not to fly directly into Ithaca, three other airports are located within a 60-mile radius of Ithaca. Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, New York, offers more airline options than the Ithaca airport. Ground transportation to and from Hancock Airport can be arranged through a local service, Ithaca Airline Limousine ($110/round-trip). Other airports within reasonable driving distances to Ithaca include the Greater Binghamton Airport and the Elmira Corning Regional Airport.

Bus Service:
The award-winning Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) provides public transportation for Tompkins County. The Best Western University Inn and Holiday Inn are located close to bus routes that will take you to the Cornell campus.

Cornell University Parking:
Workshop attendees who are driving onto campus can purchase daily parking passes for $10/day at any of the traffic information booths (indicated on campus maps).

Accommodations

Hotels are filling up fast due to the nearby NASCAR at The Glen weekend. Be sure to make your reservations early.
